Storage and Life Period of Latex Balloons

Latex Ballons are made of vulcanized natural rubber latex. Since the basic material is an organic material the balloon is aging under normal conditions.

The aging process is an oxidation process (reaction with oxygen) and will be accelerate by uv light, heat and some contact materials.

Storage recommendations:

storage temperature 8 - 30° C

protected against sun and uv light

not near by ozon sources (some electrical equipments produce ozon)

no contact with oil

no contact with heavy metals like copper and mangan

do not store balloons under strong mechanical pressure
